strategic partner agreement to develop IT architecture ]init[ Digital Communication and the Department of Economic Development Abu Dhabi sign strategic partner agreement to develop IT architecture for new one-stop-shop business center Within the scope of the opening of the Abu Dhabi – Berlin Economic Forum, the Department of Economic Development (DED) Abu Dhabi and the German e-Government solutions provider ]init[ Digital Communication strengthened the ties between the two sides by signing a strategic partner agreement on further cooperation. High level representatives from both Abu Dhabi and Germany honored the signing of the Agreement with their presence, namely His Excellency Nasser Ahmed Kalifa Al Suwaidi the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and the Governing Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit.

The agreement was signed at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Hotel in Abu Dhabi, by H. E. Ghanem Mohamed Alffendi Al Mazrouei, the Executive Director of Support Services Sector on behalf of the Department of Economic Development Abu Dhabi, and Harald Felling, Executive Director and CSO of ]init[ Digital Communication, reflects the vital role played by the DED in reducing administrative burdens in order to support commerce and strengthen the business environment in Abu Dhabi.

On its way to become the single point of contact for its stakeholders and to serve as a unique ‚Economic Hub‛ in Abu Dhabi the DED will make use of an integration layer that is going to be provided by ]init[. The layer will improve existing services and provide new communication and transaction channels for DED’s stakeholders by leveraging the latest technology.

]init[ is a comprehensive international e-Government expert and has its own branch in Abu Dhabi since 2007. Harald Felling, Chief Sales Officer of ]init[, emphasizes the benefits of the fruitful cooperation with Abu Dhabi authorities: “For ]init[ it is a true win-win-situation. Here in Abu Dhabi new standards are set and cutting-edge solutions are implemented. We are looking forward to contributing our expertise to the great initiatives of the DED in facilitating business activities through the provision of e-Services and in realizing the economic vision of Abu Dhabi 2030.”
